We registered ClassDiaspora in November 2025 and officially launched on Product Hunt in February 2026 with one mission: connect verified Nigerian teachers and tutors with diaspora parents and students around the world. Today, more than 500 people are on the platform, and every bit of that growth has been organic.
We got here the slow, honest way. WhatsApp groups, Telegram communities, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. Articles on Medium, Nairaland, our Google Business Profile and our blog. Every post, every share and every "you should check this out" counted.
What makes me proudest is how natural the experience feels. Most users sign up with Google in seconds and move through onboarding without help. Teachers follow the verification flow and pay securely through Paystack. There's no learning curve, because ClassDiaspora feels like the social apps people already use every day.

In-chat messaging: tutors reach out directly to parents, conversations start, connections are made and engagements follow.
Community posts: users share experiences, ask questions and learn from one another.
Play & Earn: our Match Nigeria game, where users play, earn tokens and unlock more premium access and usage.
I won't pretend it's been smooth. We're a lean team, and there have been technical challenges and plenty of late-night fixes along the way. But every bug fixed and every late night has been worth it, because real teachers are getting real opportunities and real families are finding trusted help.
