# ClassDiaspora

> ClassDiaspora is a marketplace that connects Nigerian teachers and tutors with diaspora parents who want Nigerian languages, culture, values and academic learning for their children. Operated by ClassD NG Limited. Website: https://classdiaspora.ng

Parents and students abroad use ClassDiaspora to find, message and hire Nigerian educators for online lessons, including Nigerian languages, cultural education, homeschooling support and school subjects. Teachers create profiles, can apply for verification of their identity and credentials, and connect with families on the platform. The interface can be switched to English, Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa.

Key roles:

- Parents / students: diaspora families searching for and hiring tutors.
- Teachers / tutors: Nigerian educators offering online lessons. Profiles show whether a teacher is verified.
- Administrators: review verifications and keep the platform safe.
