Data Deletion Instructions

1. Delete Your Account

You may permanently delete your ClassDiaspora account at any time by logging into your account and selecting the Delete Account option from your account settings or dashboard, where available.

Once your deletion request is confirmed, your account will be scheduled for permanent removal in accordance with our data retention practices.

2. Request Data Deletion

If you are unable to access your account, or if you signed in using Facebook Login, Google Sign-In, or another authentication provider, you may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Please send your request to: [email protected] using the email address associated with your ClassDiaspora account.

3. Information That Will Be Deleted

Upon successful verification of your request, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account where legally permitted.

• Your account profile.
• Name and profile photograph.
• Email address and login credentials.
• Teacher or parent profile information.
• Biography, qualifications, subjects, rates, and availability.
• Uploaded documents and verification materials where eligible for deletion.
• Authentication identifiers associated with Facebook Login or Google Sign-In.
• Other personal information that is no longer required for legal or operational purposes.

4. Information We May Retain

Certain information may be retained after account deletion where necessary to:

• Comply with applicable laws and regulatory obligations.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity.
• Resolve disputes or enforce our Terms of Service.
• Maintain financial, accounting, or tax records where required.
• Protect the safety, rights, and security of our users and platform.

5. Processing Time

We aim to process verified data deletion requests within 30 days of receiving the request. In certain circumstances where additional verification or legal obligations apply, processing may take longer, and you will be informed accordingly.
